Photos
Above are a few miscellaneous photos that I took in my 8th grade Digital Media year, or just out and about.
This is the 1 in 1800 project: a photo collection designed to show a unique and distinct part of my life. For this project, I mainly chose to focus on my pets. I see these animals as family, and I feel a strong emotional bond to them, so I decided that this project would be worth dedicating to these special creatures. I display them in places that we share space in: A dog park hike for Zeus, my dog, and a few shots of my cats lounging around my house (also featuring special guests: my grandmother's newborn grandpuppies.). These are the places and experiences in which we are both truly at home together. With these photos, I want to show that level of comfort with a creature that isn't even the same species as you.
For my Windows and Doors project, I wanted to try and capture both the inside and outside view of a setting. This can have the significance of capturing the "whole story" of a place rather than just one snapshot, or it could just be a simpler composition challenge. Composition is definitely crucial with this assignment.
